Dr.
Fred Ng founded Wake Surgical Center
in 1974. He immigrated to the United States in 1962. He was
born in the Philippines and is of Chinese descent. Dr.
Ng retired in 2003 spending much of his free time in the Philippines
on medical missions. He is the chief surgeon for the Carolina
Medical Mission (CMM). CMM is a nonprofit group that gives
free medical and surgical care to indigent areas of the Philippines.
He enjoys helping the less fortunate.
