Dr.
Covington completed his undergraduate and medical school
education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
He trained at University of Texas, Houston in General Surgery.
His areas of surgical interest include benign and malignant
breast disease, complex hernia repair, and anorectal disease.
He has recently taken a special interest in complex wound healing. He is the Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center at Duke Raleigh Hospital. He is currently the Regional Medical Director for National Healing. |
