D. PODNOS, MD, MPH, FACS
Dr.
Podnos received his undergraduate degree from New York
University. After receiving his MPH in Health
Care Management from Harvard University, he completed
medical school and his General Surgery training at the
University of California, Irvine. He received his
Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at the City of Hope National
Medical Center. His interest in surgical oncology
focuses on liver, colon and solid organ tumors. He is the current Director of Surgical Oncology at Rex Hospital. Dr. Podnos is an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Surgery at UNC.
