Dr.
Powell, a native of Raleigh, "returned
home" when he joined Wake Surgical Center in 1983. A graduate
of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (undergraduate
1974 BA Zoology and Medical School 1978). He served as Resident
in General Surgery 1978-1982 at the University of Kentucky and
as Chief Resident at the University of Kentucky from 1982-1983.
He has published several surgical journal articles. |
