LINDSEY SHARP, MD
Dr. Lindsey Sharp was born and raised on the Virginia peninsula. He attended Duke University where he received a BS degree in Biology. In 2001, Dr. Sharp moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he attended medical school and trained in General Surgery at Emory University. His academic accomplishments includememberships in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. He then returned to the Triangle where he completed a Fellowhip in Bariatric and Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery at Duke University. Dr. Sharp is the most recent surgeon to join Wake Surgical Specialists and the larger Rex Surgical Specialists. His professional interests include laparoscopic bariatric surgery, minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, and complex hernia surgery. His personal interests include golf and soccer. He is joined by his wife, Amy, and their three sons. |
